I have 2 cats. Bernie has to have only wet food with medicine. Bean eats only dry food. I have a different RFID feeder to dispense the dry food which keeps Bernie out of the crunchies. Lately though, Bean has been gobbling up Bernie’s wet food and getting a bit chunky. I decided to try the Furbaby Mini feeder for Bernie’s food and it has been more successful than I expected. It only took a few days for him to get used to the collar and understand how to make the feeder lid open. I did put the feeder up on a 4” box as Bernie is a big Maine Coon who is used to eating out of an elevated dish. Another plus is that the lid helps keep the food fresh for longer. My only comment is that the setup instructions were not that clear regarding pairing the unit and how the different feeding modes work. The only video about setup showed the Sphere not the Mini. After some googling I was able to get the pairing done and set the mode.
I'm ordering my second feeder today. My "fat cat" is finally losing weight, and my small cat is gaining. My small cat began using her new feeder immediately, no problem!
I have 3 of these for 5 cats who need 3 different diets! I'm able to have 2 adult cats on one, 2 kittens on one, and another older one on prescription diet and the feeders do a great job not allowing the cats to share/steal from each other. The first one I got about a year ago has had zero issues. I recently bought 2 more and unfortunately one started to have an issue. I reached out to customer support and they got back to me within 24 hours and walked me through a few tips to try and get it working again. Including step by steps and videos! Which helps me so much since I have trouble envisioning things sometimes lol. They didn't work though so they're sending a replacement free of charge with a tag since my kitten lost hers! I found this site randomly and I am so glad I did. The feeders are perfect and the customer service is actually amazingly helpful. Communication was fast and easy. These are especially helpful for anyone that needs to put their cat on a diet in a multi cat house hold. It's actually possible thanks to these feeders! (My older girl lost 3 pounds healthily!)
Had a question before ordering and got a helpful reply. Ordering was easy too. Thanks again!
I just received 2 feeders and easy set up, cats are nervous about it but they will figure it out.
