My fur baby recently lost her eyelsight. Bought the feeder cause there was a bit of food stealing. I believe her being able to hear the feeder open let her know that’s where her food is. It recently stopped working. I called customer service and 123 it was fixed. I recommend this feeder highly.!!!
Excellent customer service. Many times, Mark has helped us after hours, weekends with programming the feeder & is now sending us a replacement feeder! Feeder works great with our pets as we have a diabetic cat.
I originally purchased the flat version but it stopped opening for my cat so I got 2 of these. I bought these because my youngest cat eats to much and my other two cats graze through out the day. My youngest eats so much that she throws up. I was a little hesitent on the bowl shape having them put their heads inside but turns out it worked just fine. To introduce them to it i left it open for all to use to get used to eating from it. After a few days I turned it on to be enabled vis rfid. Both my cats use it and my youngest cat is now loosing weight!
Definatly a unique product and a must have for single cats with dogs or a household with multiple cats. Great product and priced fairly!

Works well. I had to get the cat use to it, by leaving it open as they suggest. I left it open and add food for a couple days until he got comfortable with sticking his head inside. After the training period he had no issue using it. I also disabled the beeping sound via the menu as the cat didn't like that. I like the build quality, the battery backup as well as being able to plug it in.
The collar that comes with it is well made but I was concerned it didnt have a break away feature, so I put the id tag on another collar. The collar is probably fine for an indoor cat but I might be concerned for an outdoor cat getting it caught on something.
Feature I wish it had, was configurable delay for how long it stays open when the cat activates and then turns away.
It takes a little training obviously to get the puppy to stay in front of it, but after a couple days they gutter l get the idea since they get the reward when it opens.
I have two of the fur baby feeders, an older model and the one that’s out currently. I love them both and so do my cats. I love the way that I can see how much each cat is eating as I have one that would like to overheat.
The customer service is outstanding. I had an RFID disc that quit working shortly after I got it and they replaced it very quickly for me. If you send them a message, they answer very promptly. I’ve never had better customer service anywhere else.

So far this RIFD feeder is far exceeding my expectations! I have cat that is an absolute piggy! I recently adopted a friend for him and still need to transition her off her old food to his food brand. He's of course discovered that there was another food dish in the house (he has a timed feeder). I had a camera set up in the bedroom I confined her in to keep an eye on her during the introduction phase, and kept it there to see how often my piggy would go in there. And of course, became more and more often. So the hunt began for feeding options. I ordered this unit from some other reviews I've seen and purchased it with a 20% coupon available, so it brought the price down a bit. These feeders are expensive, but so far it's proving worth the expense. It operates very easily and easily reads the chip on her collar. I also tested what this feeder would do if for some reason it tried closing while she still had her head in the unit and I'm so pleased that it won't close on her. The doors open again immediately. It's a decent size, about the size of a women's basketball and easy to hook up and power on. I'm still trying to get my girl to understand she has to get closer to the feeder for the doors to open, but we'll get there. Training tip for skittish cats - use something particularly smelly that they love like a canned food or I used the fancy feast trays. I gave her a taste and put it in the feeder and training became easy with an eager cat wanting the smelly treat. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the buttons on the unit itself. They could be easier to push in and sense you are doing something.
Works great! Word of advice, if your cat/dog is scared of sudden noises, like mine is, give them a week to adjust to it and frequently bring them up to the feeder to trigger the door noise to get them used to it. We had to do that and our cat is no longer scared of the sphere that holds her food. Door got stuck open one time when I overfilled it with kibble, that's on me. All in all, good product.
I highly recommend the furbbayfeeder. I have multiple pets, and feeding time has always been a stressful time in my home, due to having to supervise all the pets too make sure that they don't eat each other's food. The feeder has been the answer to my problems. It is easy to set up, and I really like the new mute option. Now each pet is able to eat their own food without worrying about them not eating out eating each other's food. I also really like the charcoal color.
The furbaby feeder is great! I have 2 cats an eating machine and a grazer i bought two feeders and this solves the problem. The biggest plus is excellent customer service. I had a problem with the tags and they replaced them free of charge right away. They listened and cared about my concerns. Great Company.

We were loving this cat feeder so much. We have 4 dogs and a kitten. The kitten is about 6 months old now and she doesn't eat as much as the dogs and prefers to "graze" throughout the day. Unfortunately, my dogs think any food is their food and kept raiding her bowl. I thought this was going to be the perfect answer. I could keep a good amount of food in the bowl and it would only open for her. She caught on super quick and for several days she was able to eat when she wanted. Then the black lab figured it out. She knew the cat had food stashed and despite putting this up on a piece of taller furniture, the lab was determined. She ripped it off the furniture, destroying the power cord. She then carried the machine to her favorite resting spot where she chewed away at the doors until she was able to access the sweet kitty morsels inside. This took place in the 20 minutes I was away to get ready for work. It was great while it lasted, but it just wasn't prepared for the challenge of the black lab.
It paired quickly to the included collar chip. It was worth every penny for the few days we were all able to enjoy it. The lab gives it 5 stars.
I have a 10-year-old Shiba Inu who has her bowl on the ground and we wanted to keep the cat out of it. I thought this might work because she isn't a large dog. The setup is really simple it did take a little bit for the RFID card to scan but after that it was very simple and it doesn't take up much space on the floor. The problem I'm having is she is kind of scared of it. She's not used to pushing boundaries so if it's shut she doesn't like to approach it to get it to open. I like that it comes with video guides and information about training. I hope within a month or two she's able to use it. One of the best features about this though is that you can turn off the beeps, she's absolutely terrified of beeps.
This works great and is exactly what I hoped it would be — baby proof from my all too curious toddler who I don’t want eating dog food!
This is the perfect feeder for our house. We have an older cat, a 8 month old cat, a German Shephard and a great pyrenees. Our 8 month old cat doesn't eat fast and like to eat small portions and come back later but we had a big problem with the dogs or our older cat eating her food. We couldn't put supplements in her food or anything because others would eat it. Now with this feeder we dont have to worry about her having enough, no food is getting ate by the wrong animal and our cat is able to easily access her food and eat it how she wants.
It was super easy to set up. It comes with a power cord that is just a charger and charger box or it has the option for batteries. Our only problem was getting her use to wearing a collar.
The food bowl is removable and is easy to clean. It can hold a good amount of food. I absolutely love this feeder.
If you have multiple animals easting from the same bowl you can get more tags, can use 3 tags per feeder.
LOVE this device. So helpful in our home. We have 2 cats. One has a restricted diet due to some minor medical issues. The other one eats anything that he can fit in his mouth. This gave us a way to auto feed our one cat without having to go through the headaches of separating the two during feeding time. We are buying a second unit so the furry garbage disposal cat can have his own with standard food and not feel left out. This will also ensure that only the right cat is able to eat the correct food assigned to them. Wonderful technology and good implementation. Works perfectly and looks very stylish.
Easy set up. Works as described. We have 3 cats. 1 grazes the other two are piggies. Set up for the cat who grazes. Startles cats at first while learning how it works. Peace of mind that my grazing cat will be getting enough to eat without overfeeding the other 2 cats.
I absolutely love this feeder! We had a real challenge feeding our cat after getting a dog — the dog kept stealing all the cat's food. But this feeder solved the problem perfectly. Now our cat can finally eat in peace! The food stays sealed and only opens automatically when the cat comes close. Just wow — it’s like magic. This baby feeder is awesome It helps me keep my cat's food safe from my dog, who usually tries to steal it. I especially love the option to use the RFID tag on my cat’s collar - such a smart feature! I have to say that the customer service I received recently was top notch. I reached out via the phone number listed and I was contacted right away with a resolution to my issue. The individual was courteous and patient. I didn't have to go back and forth with explanations about my particular issue and it was handled with only a few questions asked. My cats have been eating from a covered bowl all their lives to keep one from eating the others food, meds, or now the dog eating it all, lol. At first the new dish startled my big 23 lb tuxedo kitty and took him a little while to get used to opening the dish from a closer distance that his old dish did from further away. This new dish is much quieter than his old dish and the mute feature helps even more.. Seems pretty sturdy and well thought out, but only time will tell.
We have 3 cats, 2 are regulated eaters and 1 is a greedy glut. The greedy cat is always looking for an opportunity to eat tje other cat’s food. Our 3rd car was a rescue as a kitten and i originally had a timer feeder that didn’t work out to well because there would be food leftover and greedy cat would eat it. I found the Furbaby microchip feeder Sphere that would allow the newest cat to eat at her leisure and also keeping the greedy cat away from food that is leftover. I programmed the RFID collar tag and like magic anytime the kitten gets close to the feeder the door opens and when she walks away it closes immediately. I am very satisfied with the operation of the feeder and highly recommend it to anyone who has issues with other pets eating food up that isn’t meant for them. GREAT PRODUCT!
