FurBabyFeeder Sphere – Automatic RFID Microchip Pet Feeder for Secure Pet Meals

this will be #3 of the coffee sphere feeders I have (with #4 soon) and other than a portion of a day to get used to that feeder rather than the older furbaby feeder i still use (that looks like a flat shoe box and has a red glow when closed) this kitty took to it rather well. only time will tell how well they were engineered and constructed though.

My boy Fritz was recently prescribed special food for his IBD. I didn't want all my cats to enjoy the billion dollar bag food, and this worked perfectly! My other three cats have their own feeder and my special little guy has his own. None of the cats were scared of the beeps or the door opening and closing. My two cats had this silly routine of leaving a few kibbles and swapping at the end of a meal so they could try each other's food, but since my boy cat got a UTI and needs to be on health food, it's been so hard to keep them separate. Now that's not an issue! My boy did take some time to adjust to the sound of the feeder, but they both adjusted so quick and those feeders are a saving grace at meal times. We used to use autofeeders but my cats hated being on a schedule, so knowing that these feeders protect their food AND keep it fresh is amazing.

Got the Sphere a few months ago because my younger cat kept sneaking the senior cat's food. Setup was easy and it's been working great ever since. Both cats adjusted quickly and meal times are finally stress-free.

At first, my cats were a little scared to stick their heads inside the Sphere feeder and would try to pull the food out instead. After a few days, they got used to it and now eat from it normally.

This feeder is perfect for our cats. We have 5 cats with one on a special diet. This is the only feeder that allows you to program up to 3 collars per feeder. We purchased 3 feeders. When one of the motors malfunctioned after a couple of months, the customer service was prompt, polite, and effective in meeting our needs. After sending a short video of the problem, they sent a replacement. Very pleased. Highly recommend!

I bought these to help one of my cats because he's overweight, he came to me from an elderly woman at a whooping 24lbs of love. I have him down to 20lbs but with 4 it's hard to control. The only issue I have is they keep locking on their own even if none of the cats touch it. I will unlock it so I can open the door, some of my cats are still figuring it out, and the second the screen goes off it locks so if the cat moves slightly out of range and the doors shut before they get their head in in time to stop it from closing, it will not open again till I unlock it. Other than that it works as it's supposed to and keeps my chunky boy from getting their food since the rang is very short.

The Sphere is a game changer for our cats. The big orange male eats ALL the food. Or he did until we got the Sphere.

Now the fat boy cat can't eat the little mom cat's food, which ticks him off. But the little mom cat is loving life, and eating more.

Collar it came with is way too big for most cats, and after 4 days of use it sounds like there is a clicking in the automatic door close so I hope thats not going to be an issue. Otherwise works great, opens up for my kittens and they use it. Closes timely enough that my other cats can't get into it.

We have multiple cats. One is on a special prescription diet, and another is always trying to steal his food. Before purchasing, I did research on other (more expensive!) brands that showed other cats could easily still get at the food from the side.. This feeder is cooler looking, and does a great job of ensuring only the one cat can get in! When our cat Paul goes into his “astronaut helmet” as we call it, he can eat freely without being bothered. The device is very safe (it knows if there’s a head or a hand and will not close on). Any questions we had were quickly answered. - great customer service. We are happy with our purchase.

This feeder is perfect for our multi-cat household. One of our cats is on a calorie limited diet and the other uses the feeder to free feed. Customer service is very fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

My order came faster than I expected and was packed really well. The feeder feels sturdy and well made. Both cats are still figuring it out, but they’re curious and eating from it more every day. I can already tell it’s going to make feeding time much easier.

This feeder fixed a huge problem in our house. Our dog used to eat the cat’s food before she even had a chance…Now the lid only opens when it reads my cat’s microchip, so the dog can’t touch it!! Portion control is VERY good and mealtimes are way less stressful now.

We have both this new style furbaby in coffee and the old style. While this new one is a more compact design, it is less accessible and scares our cat. I like using stainless steel bowls and the old one required that we bend a round bowl to fit. The round bowl fits well in this new one, but our cat's ears touch the top or sides, which most cats don't like, and he makes a bit of a mess as it sits inside the much larger bowl. It is also much louder that the old one. One nice thing is there are no lights to keep you awake at night. I'd say it's a work in progress. Btw, RFID tags from the SureFeed feeder work on this as well.

I luv the coffee color. Looks so nice in my kitchen and doesn’t stand out like those clunky pet feeders... My cat started using it right away and now eats all her meals from it!!! It keeps the food fresh, and I like that it only opens for her, so no more sneaky midnight snacks from the other pets😅 Totally worth it.

Got this feeder to help manage my cat’s portions and it works great 👍 The door does make a small sound when it opens but its not too loud. My pets’ food is always fresh now!!

Works perfectly for my cats, both in size and how it fits into their feeding routine. It was easy to set up, the lid opens smoothly, and the food stays fresh. I dont have to worry about spills, mess, overeating whatever!

When I first set it up, my lil kitty was nervous about the sound bt I followed the guide and in 2 days she was eating from it like nothing happened. It’s great for controlling portions and keeping the food clean. Glad I didn’t give up on the first day.

The spherical shape and function of the feeder is revolutionary to my household! I have a small sweet grazer kitty and a big tough kitty who is an evil genius when it comes to food. He has figured out how to break into all other microchip feeders I've tried over the years, but he cannot crack the furbaby feeder! I did order the orange version and the beeping is a little too scary for my timid cat, but furbaby has been kind enough to offer an exchange for the coffee version which has a mute option for the beeping.
