Our FurBabyFeeder Mini uses RFID tags that come with the feeder, and does not yet support implanted microchips like the SureFeed models do.

My cats are Micro chipped & I have purchased the Surefeed but we are a 4 cat household so I was trying to find something cheaper. The surefeeder you have the option to use the collar RFID chip or the RFID chip that is already under your cats skin. Is that the same for this feeder?
