Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out! Unlike the Petlibro, the FurBabyFeeder Mini does not rely on WiFi at all for operation. Instead, it uses RFID technology to detect your pet's tag and control access to the food.
The only wireless connection it uses is Bluetooth, which is for initial setup or accessing settings via your phone. So as long as you're within typical Bluetooth range (about 10–30 feet), you're good to go! Once set up, the feeder works independently and doesn’t need constant connection to your phone or internet.
So no worries about router placement — just pick a comfortable, accessible spot for your kitty! 🐾
